Pupils continued to develop their bag designs in DT by exploring different shapes and how they could be combined to create an effective design. They carefully drew around a variety of shapes, practising control and accuracy with their pencil work. Pupils then used scissors safely to cut out the shapes, developing their fine motor skills and confidence when cutting. Finally, they selected and arranged their shapes before sticking them into place, creating a planned design and demonstrating creativity, concentration, and increasing independence throughout the activity.
